Hansel and Gretel

Once upon a planet, lived a boy name Hansel and a girl named Gretel. Hansel and Gretel lived in separate cottages, with quite some distance in between them Hansel and Gretel lived with their mother and father in a cottage located deep in a concrete forest, surrounded by grey and black trees as tall as giants, and clouds as white as snow, enclosed by a mist of darkness in the air. In there separate cottages, they underwent the constant demolition of their lives. The era in which they lived, cycled over a society of submissive women, power-hungry ignorant men and a foundation that supported the destruction of proper construction before it began. Hansel and Gretel’s father's were men of the era, subjected to the perspective they were cursed with. In response both children endured years of mental and physical destruction as they watched their mother be destroyed Millenia over.

One day, when Hansel and Gretel’s mother’s could no longer stand to protect them from the truth they were both too ignorant too understand, their father’s conspired to abandon their children in order to adhere to their selfish needs. The father’s hoped that once the children were left to naively survive in the concrete forest, they would succumb to the dangers around them and perish. However, both children were intelligent and knowledgeable beyond their years. With their unique perspectives, they were able to see the intentions of their father’s and prepared for their plans.

The father’s destroyed the structure of Hansel and Gretel’s  mother’s, leaving them incapable of defending themselves and their children from the pain and terror that rained from these malicious men. Upon this occurrence, their father’s took them out into the concrete jungle in the middle of the darkest night and left them to fend and find for themselves until their untimely demise. However, being that the children foreshadowed this event, they acquired knowledge through observing different aspects and groups in the concrete jungle that encapsulated them. With this knowledge, they paraded through the night, fearful, but strong in their beliefs in their abilities to survive.

Hansel and Gretel chose never to return back to where they were casted out. Neither saw or felt a home in the destruction they were constructed from. Hansel and Gretel found new homes in the people and places they arrived upon in their journey through the concrete jungle of their lives. Through love, companionship and individuality, they both developed temporary ways to fit in and survive in the world around them, while also being able to keep their perspective in play. Their profound knowledge aided them in finding their way through the lost and loss, ever-so dabbling in the sins of reality.

As Hansel and Gretel traveled deeper through the forest, the darkness thickened the air and what they could once see with their knowledge, was now dispersed through the darkness around them. Lost in the darkness, their ignorance returned and they were subjected to new trials and tribulations, different from anything they faced before. Most importantly, their challenges were no longer the same, as they both were forced to battle the every cycling behavior of their society. Gretel was to be submissive and succumb to the will of the ignorant man. Hansel was to befall a life of aggression and a diminutive nature in order to attain whatever he desires. However, neither wanted to walk the path set for them in this concrete jungle. So, they walked off the path. They walked and fell, rolled, slid, crashed, tripped, ran and crawled, in order to evade and overcome the obstacle in the darkness around them.

After traveling through the forest and being halted by his obstacles, Hansel was weary and his perspective was weak. He was no longer able to continue, so he laid his head to sleep and prayed.

“Lord, as I lay my head to sleep, bring me peace and knowledge, so that I may rest forever content. Amen.”

Hansel later awoke in a state of confusion and disarray. Before him was no longer the concrete jungle that he knew, but instead a majestic green drenched forest, infused with some concrecity. As Hansel explored this new territory that he discovered, he came upon a small brown haired maiden whose skin and essence was as hot as the sun. It was Gretel. Hansel was overcome with a wave of emotions. He sensed struggle and fight in this girl similar to that of his own. His curiosity peaked and he walked towards Gretel. As he arrived near a turned Gretel, he softly placed his hand on her shoulder and said,

“How did you get to this world?”

Gretel replied, “I made a deal with a witch and was brought here, for this is where I have found my temporary peace.”

Hansel, joyed to here a way to achieve any form of peace, begged Gretel to take him to the witch who helped her to achieve her peace. Gretel disagreed saying that he must pay an ultimate price to achieve this peace. Hansel desperate for this peace, lost and weary in this world from his last, demanded he receive the witches whereabouts. Gretel responded to his demands.

, “Your ignorance will cost you your sanity”

Hansel responded.

“Why do you play with my needs, don’t you see I need peace.”

Gretel turned around and revealed her face.

Her eyes resembled a void in space. Her face as soft as  the wool on a sheep, but sharp like the tip of a sword.

Her lips acute and red like an eclipsed moon.

“Do you really want to meet the witch and receive your peace Hansel?”

Gretel asked Hansel.

“Yes I demand to see her now!”

Gretel revealed herself from under her long cloth that was covering her.

She looked into Hansel’s eyes and her eyes quickly turned into an aggressive red that struck fear into Hansel's eyes.

Her demeanor also began to change as her small physique turned into a monstrous abomination. A wave of energy began to circulate her and she uttered in a demonic voice, “Receive your peace and die!”

A wave of dark blue energy flew through Hansel and  he collapsed to the ground.

Gretel then returned to her original appearance and walked up to Hansel.
She put her hand behind his head and whispered in his ear, “If you perish, you will rest in peace forever. If you live, we shall live in peace and war forevermore.

Gretel arose and walked back into the darkness, turning into a shadow disguised by her surroundings.

Hansel’s body lay cold and pale on the ground. He begins to violently shake and his lungs feel as if they are being flooded with water.
Hansel believes he is going to die.

Before his soul soars into the abyss of memories,  Hansel say’s one last prayer.

“Lord, as I lay here to sleep, I hope to achieve the ability to earn true peace.”

Hansel dies.

Time passes and Gretel comes back to see Hansel’s body.

She was not surprised to see his body was not there and assumed it had been consumed or devoured by hunters.

She turned to walk back into the darkness and saw two blue piercing lights in the distance. As she came to term with the presence she sensed, the lights moved closer and closer to her still body.

Hansel entered the light created by her essence and revealed himself.

Gretel, responded, “You survived my death. Have you reached your peace?”

Hansel’s blue eyes fade into a soft brown and he held Gretel.

“I love you, life has made you a witch because you chose not to follow the path of the blind. I walk this path with you forever and promise never to lose my way.”

Gretel vacuums the air around her in one big inhale. She exhales in the form of a sigh and says,

“I must continue to find myself in the darkness. Now that you have found your light and essence, go and explore your darkness.

Hansel responded,

“We can illuminate the darkness around and us and see more to explore together.”

Gretel held Hansel and kissed him before turning away.

Hansel screamed for Gretel to come back

Gretel looked back and uttered her final words to Hansel before fading away forever.

“I love you, but you are not aware of my existence. I am pain.  I am happiness. I am sorrow. I am relief. I am you. When I leave, you will find your peace and you will illuminate the darkness around you and perceive reality.

Hansel’s eyes began to turn blue and his physique grew larger and treacherous.

Hansel walked towards Gretel and with one swing he slashed away the darkness around them.

Hansel was flooded in dark blue light.

He sent this blue energy through Gretel's body and she collapsed to the ground.

Gretel laid on the ground and began to cry.

Hansel returned  to a sickly and weak physique and falls beside Gretel.

Hansel then asks gretel,

“Are you crying because of what I have done?”

Gretel responded.
“I am crying because I have found love and peace.”

Hansel and Gretel lock hands and for one last time there eyes light up.

They both release  a scream and blue energy disperses through the sky illuminating the universe.

Hansel looks over at Gretel and says,

“You have brought me peace through war.”

Hansel dies.

Gretel, certain Hansel is dead rises and speaks to Hansel's dead body.

“You have found your peace. Goodbye.”

As she walks away from his dead body, blue light begins to drip out of a small hole in her chest in front of her heart.

She turns to look at Hansel, to see him using his last bits of strength to hold his finger up in the form of a gun.

Gretel falls to the ground, with a look of bewilderment and content.

Gretel's spoke her last words to Hansel, "You got into my heart."

Hansel whispers in response, "I ended your pain and because of  that I have found my peace."

Both lay still as their last moments of breath escapes their lungs.
